Firm Description:
Five Valleys Law, P.L.L.C. is a small Missoula-based firm serving clients throughout Montana and parts of North Dakota. Our practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, adult guardianships, business transactions, contracts, real estate, and related litigation. We believe a team-based approach best serves our clients. Each attorney and staff member brings unique strengths, and by working together, we deliver stronger results.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience in (1) probate and trust administration, (2) estate planning, including tax and/or Medicaid planning, and (3) real estate law or estate and trust litigation. In this role, the attorney will lead matters and help grow the practice. Because the position includes direct client interaction, strong interpersonal skills and professionalism are essential.
Job Location:
Work in Missoula, Montana and/or Polson, Montana.
Pay:
Base Salary depends on experience with a general range of $100,000 to $125,000 annually.

Requirements
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Montana or ability to obtain
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in elder law, estate planning, tax law, real estate, litigation, or related practice areas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Succession Planning Skills
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Compassionate and client-focused demeanor
Ability to manage multiple matters independently
Preferred but not required:
Ll.M. in Tax or Elder Law
Experience with estate planning software (e.g., Interactive Legal Services)
Interest in implementing new technologies
Licensure in multiple states
